For Judges on Facebook, Friendship Has Limits

This article titled FOr Judges on facebook Friendship has Limits is about how judges and lawyers in Florida can no longer be facebook friends. It is stated that When judges “friend” lawyers who may appear before them, the committee said, it creates the appearance of a conflict of interest, since it “reasonably conveys to others the impression that these lawyer ‘friends’ are in a special position to influence the judge.” So due to this they have banned the use of being friends with eachother in order to stop thsi problem of happening. I believe this article happens to relate to socail control because these lawyers and judgea are being control by being told what friends they can have and which ones they could communicate with over the use of facebook.
